ABOUT SAGE CARE

Sage Care Homes Group was set up in 1997 with the acquisition of our first home, Jansondean Nursing Home. Since then, we have concentrated on developing our experiences in the care sector and growing the group at a steady and sustainable pace.

This measured approach not only allowed us to maintain a family atmosphere within all the homes, it also enabled us to develop our philosophy of care - "Care With Respect".

Our philosophy and motto is to provide "Care With Respect" for each and every service user. We strive to preserve and maintain the DIGNITY, INDIVIDUALITY and PRIVACY of all service users within a warm and caring environment.

We always remain sensitive to the service users ever changing needs and recognise these needs are not limited to nursing alone but also include social, psychological, spiritual, cultural and emotional aspects.

Where possible, service users are encouraged to participate in the development of their individualised care plans together with the involvement of family and friends.

Various training programmes are in place for all of our care staff to deliver safe and high standards of care. All staff are required to attend training programmes relevant to their particular area of responsibility.

These training programs are in line with the latest initiatives, legislations, regulations and CQC minimum standards. Our policy is for all care staff to be offered training for National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ).

We continue to be excited about the future of the group as we explore opportunities to not only improve and expand our existing homes, but also to acquire new sites to grow Sage Care Homes.
