About Us

The management of The Belmar Nursing Home pride ourselves on offering a highly professional care service for the younger mentally ill, with a personal touch.

When people suffer from mental illness through no fault of their own, we think they deserve extra cherishing. They need a home where individuality is emphasised, with staff who have time to give attention to small detail, and where they have the choice of enjoying the company of like-minded fellow Service Users.

The Belmar Nursing Home aims to provide its Service Users with a secure, relaxed, and homely environment in which their care, well being and comfort are of prime importance, and where they can be assisted to reach their best potential.

Activities

An Activities Coordinator is employed who arranges the programme of activities for each day. This programme will include activities designed to help with Rehabilitation such as cooking, shopping and budgeting and diversional activities including Art, Crafts quizzes and board games.

When the weather permits, there are barbeques with croquet and badminton, as well as excursions to Blackpool, the Zoo, nearby cafes and more.
