Because each person’s needs are different, in terms of medical, physical, emotional and even social aspects, residents need a package that’s tailored especially for them and which can be altered quickly as their needs may change.
Jansondean
Nestled in Beckenham on a quiet road with ample parking is our 28 bed residential home; always in demand due to its caring staff, homely atmosphere, wonderful home cooked meals and excellent location.
Our approach is very person centred, ensuring social care needs are met. Residents and families are encouraged to decorate rooms and provide as much person centred information as possible so we can deliver the most affectionate care. We provide daily activities, external entertainment, visits from the local church, religious dietary requirements and more.
Jansondean has a very good working relationship with its local authorities and the CQC largely due to its well established team. Your loved ones are in safe hands with us in Beckenham.
Willowbank
In Burnley tucked away at the very top of Pasturegate backing onto woodland is our charming 52 bed care home. Willowbank has a superb reputation within Lancashire for delivering the highest dementia specialist care. Upon visiting our home, you will notice our beautiful front garden, extensive communal areas and a very characteristic homely feel.
We have three units within the building to meet the dependency needs of each client group. Our top floor and bungalow supports semi-independent living, ground and middle floors which care for more complex needs including 1-2-1 care. Each resident has a tailored and person centred care plan. Our sensory room is used for entertainment, we have a hairdresser who visits our salon weekly and our beautiful grounds are used for outdoor activities.
Willowbank has an outstanding reputation, we normally have a waiting list for occupancy but welcome speculative enquiries.
Hazeldene
Settled in the beautiful village of Wilpshire (north of Blackburn) lies our 59 bed care home. Hazeldene has an excellent reputation and specialises in residential, dementia and respite care.
We have a quirky, homely building with extensive communal areas for our residents to relax. Hazel Up & Down units specialise in our residential care and Dene unit cares for our dementia residents.
A full programme of activities is at the heart of our care. We are passionate about our residents being active and enjoying life to its fullest. We organise day trips, pub lunches, religious visits, outdoor activities and Blackpool Pleasure Beach to name a few events. On a daily basis, residents receive their own tailored activities which can include: coffee & cake mornings, Bingo, knitting, puzzles, manicures and much more.
We invite residents and families to make Hazeldene their home by encouraging bedrooms to be personalized and decorated. At meal times, we cook delicious homemade food and can cater for all diets including pescatarian, vegetarian and halal.
Our fully qualified and trained staff work very hard to meet the expectations of our residents and their families. Care team leaders for each unit conduct six-weekly reviews with families to ensure inclusiveness and dialogue for the care we provide. You are in very safe hands at Hazeldene Residential Home.
Millreed Lodge
Just outside of Todmorden town centre sitting beautifully next to River Roch is our characteristic 33 bed care home. Millreed Lodge provides residential care and plays an important role to the community being one of the few care homes in the stunning area.
We pride ourselves in delivering excellent care with our longstanding and experienced staff. Our converted building is quirky and full of charm. We have a beautiful front garden perfect for sips of tea in the spring and summer and a furnished rear patio to watch the river go by.
Home cooked meals and desserts made from scratch are at the heart of Millreed’s provision. We take great satisfaction in using fresh ingredients and locally sourced produce for our residents.
